Deadheads in Prague - Pete's Newsletter - Issue #6
Film of the Week
Until watching this documentary, I knew little about the Grateful Dead or their music. In six episodes, it covers the tremendous arc of their career. The film makers were given full access to the band's surviving members and old footage (performances, homemade videos and interviews).
On the 50th anniversary of the "Summer of Love", this documentary is an essential view into one of America's defining counterculture movements (and a blast to watch). Available through Amazon Prime Video.
New Blog Post
I finally got around to putting together a post on my blog for our trip to Barcelona. Many more on the way.
Article of the Week

Song of the Week
After reading Meet Me in the Bathroom by Lizzy Goodman, I have been re-discovering much of the great music from 2001-2008 New York scene. "The Trial of the Century" by French Kicks is one of my favorite tracks from this time period.
Is the protagonist a tired prosecutor or resigned defendant?
